Regulatory Requirements (Brazil)

Under Portaria SPA/MF nº 827/2024, Brazilian operators must provide:

• Self-exclusion — Players can exclude themselves for defined periods
• Deposit limits — Daily, weekly, or monthly deposit caps
• Session time limits — Maximum session duration controls
• Reality checks — Periodic reminders of time and money spent
• Cool-off periods — Short-term breaks (24h to 6 weeks)

Data Requirements

Effective Responsible Gambling monitoring requires:

1. User events with date_of_birth (age verification) and kyc_status
2. Transaction events — deposit frequency and amounts
3. Casino/Sports events — session data and betting patterns
